Will! I love what you're flagging about people having their own vibes. I feel like on sketch teams that often translated to a performer who was sooooo highly specific in the way they performed that you'd have to be really strategic in how you cast them. And I think you're right that people often don't know that they have a specific energy/vibe, let alone how to harness it! Like a young mutant with powers before Professor X shows up!! But becoming aware of your own energy as a performer (or a writer for that matter!) is such an important step in finding your creative voice.
And as an audience member it's SUCH a treat to watch a performer who is super specific in how they show up on stage.
